| Thanks for helping me & my friend Mike to put together a visit to Cambodia a year ago – it’s changed my life. That trip has since rekindled my enthusiasm for SE Asia to the point that I enrolled at Ohio University this fall to work on another Masters, this one in International Studies with a focus on SE Asia. Looking over your latest trip listings, I am glad to see you are running one in NE Thailand. This is where I did my post-Cambodia archaeological field work last year. It's a remarkable region archaeologically, but rather off the main track for tourists. I'm especially glad to see you're visiting Phimai. The Khmer temple there is extremely significant and beautifully restored; the temples at Phnom Rung and Muang Tham are also wonderful. Myths and Mountains creates amazing itineraries. Looking forward to my Peru trip next year – this time, I am bringing my son with me to hike the Inca Trail! |
