Our Favorite Family Travel Expert
We at Trusted Adventures are lucky to have partnered with one of the most widely read family travel writers in the country, Eileen Ogintz. She has traveled far and wide with her own family, including several trips with us over the years, and her entertaining accounts of her adventures are read in newspapers across the the country. You can see her wonderful family at left on their visit to the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska. Later this year the whole family will be joining Trusted Adventures for a cruise in the Galapagos Islands to experience first-hand the wildife that inspired the theory of evolution. Founded by Brian Mullis and Peter Krahenbuhl, two former tour operators working with like-minded individuals and organizations around the world, this non-profit � which has recently been featured in CNN, Time and Cond� Nast Traveler � is dedicated to providing tangible programs that lessen the toll that travel and tourism take on the environment and local cultures. In the last year alone, STI has helped thousands of travelers support sustainable tourism development and connect with responsible travel companies, provided hundreds of travel-related organizations with the information and tools they need to enhance their positive impacts, launched the first global sustainable tourism certification initiative, and offset thousands of tons of travel-related greenhouse gas emissions.
