This trip is for two couples that like doing different things---together. The Best Friends "I" trip has fishing every day for the guys while on the Best Friends II version, there are less fishing days. Available during the low winter season only, the guys can fish for Baby Tarpon and Snook on their appointed days and the ladies will spend their time reading on the beach and strolling the sand streets of our wonderful little island. This trip is a way for two couples to develop enduring memories.

Mexico---Fly Fishing Select

Holbox Island, not far from Cancun, with its authentic and undiscovered flavor, has the potential to become one of your most treasured travel memories. The island is unique n Mexico, boasting beautiful white sand beaches and some of the best fly fishing on the planet. Holbox Fly Fishing Lodge targets large Tarpon in the summer months when the calm weather allows long straight casts to the Silver King. The more breezy winter months bring thousands of juvenile Baby Tarpon that are the preferred object of the many returning anglers to this island paradise. Fishermen will be able to select their fishing days on this itinerary. This trip guarantees you the best fishing conditions in the winter season (10/1-3/31). Seven night trips have 4 days of fishing, 6 nights includes 3 fishing days and there are 2 fishing days as a part of the 5 and 4 night trips.

Visitors to Holbox on this combination trip will live the full Mexican Beach Fishing vacation. It allows our guests to fully experience the Tarpon and Snook fishery while having lots of time to lounge on the beach and explore the island. It is possible to add horseback riding on the beach, swimming in the Sweetwater Lagoon, or visiting Bird Island. Kayaking, Mayan Ruins and Snorkeling with the Whales is also an option. . If you plan only one trip to the Yucatan, and you want to do it all, this is the trip.
