Of all the rivers in Idaho, none offers more continuous, explosive whitewater than the Lochsa ("Lock-saw"). For over thirty miles the Lochsa pounds and churns through more than 40 major rapids. Grab your paddle and crash through this raging torrent of fun. One to three day trips run from May to mid July. Camping or lodge based trips available.

For a short escape to the legendary Salmon River, this trip has fun whitewater rafting, warm water, big beaches and great scenery.

A gentle one day float trip on the edge of the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness, perfect for families, or gentle canoeing and sit on top kayaks. A lightly used dirt road parallels the river.

Location for ROW's Family Magic series for rafters age five and up, staffed with our signature River Jester(TM). This is a land of warm water, hot sun and fun, intermediate rapids. Camp on huge white sand beaches, swim and share the best in family river rafting under a big Western sky. Trips weekly in July and August.

Raftable only in May, June and early July, this one day adventure is similar to the Moyie in terms of being a cold, fast flowing river. The scenery is gorgeous with cedar lined banks and a seldom traveled road alongside.

Among river runners, the Middle Fork is a legend. 105 miles of pure, clear, free-flowing river drop 3000 feet through the spectacular River of No Return Wilderness. Fun, technical whitewater, bountiful wildlife, hot springs and fantastic hiking and fishing are a few of the attributes of this world-class river trip.

At the River Dance Lodge, stay in your own log cabin each night and play outdoors during the day.

From one day to six days, ROW offers a wide variety of fly fishing focusing on a number of blue ribbon cutthroat trout rivers including the St. Joe, Middle Fork Salmon, Coeur d'Alene and more.

The most remote, isolated wilderness river rafting trips in the lower 48 states, these desert rivers flow from the mountains of northern Nevada through enchanting canyonlands similar to Utah's Bryce or Zion National Parks.

Explore the largest road-less wilderness in the lower 48. Rich in scenic wonders and history, the Main Salmon River drops 1,200 feet in 89 miles, creating some exciting, but moderate whitewater. Here wildlife abounds and rock paintings left by ancient inhabitants still exist.

With its sparkling clear waters and challenging rapids, the Middle Fork drops over 3,000 feet in 100 miles of breathtaking wilderness. A spectacular forest of fir and spruce is home to abundant wildlife, Indian rock paintings, and pioneer homesteads.

The Sistine Chapel of western canyon lands, the Bruneau is one of Idaho's best-kept whitewater secrets, flowing through a dramatic sheer-walled canyon that captivates the soul. Within the canyon walls is a kaleidoscope of plant and animal life. With exciting class III-IV drops, the Bruneau is a dream come for the river connoisseur.

Formed when the Selway River joins the Lochsa, this is a mellow one day float with spectacular scenery along US Highway 12. This flows by the River Dance Lodge Idaho's Outdoor Adventure Resort. Canoe, raft and sit on top kayak trips are available.

Raftable only in May and June this is a fun, class III (intermediate), one day whitewater trip suitable for beginners and veteran rafters. The water is fast flowing and cold and we provide wetsuits and booties. The Moyie flows through a roadless canyon of thick cedar forest.
